Open House 2007
Event Date : 10/11/2007
Event Time : 8:30 AM
Event Description

Please join us in our new Troy office for our Annual Open House on Thursday, October 11, 2007.  Come anytime  - we will have tutorials in the morning, vendor seminars in the afternoon and an after-hours reception from 5 PM to 8 PM.  A vendor fair and demonstrations of the latest tools will be available throughout the day.  Register below.

Networks have moved from being a technical requirement of interest only to the Communications Manager to a key component of any business strategy.  How do we provide for remote and mobile workers?  How can we connect better with our partners and customers?  How do we assure security and compliance with new laws?  And what about new technologies like SKYPE and SIP trunking - is it right for your business?  Our Open House gives you an opportunity to learn from  tutorials by SunTel Services staff members and hear from industry leaders about solutions that we can help you implement.

Participating Partners

Presentations from our suppliers will cover solutions for new applications based on VOIP, network security and remote access solutions, and a group of mini-sessions covering new and exciting technologies that are just coming on the horizon.

Our morning tutorial on implementing VOIP at our last Open House was such a hit that we have expanded the tutorials in the morning to cover:

  • VOIP Networking for a successful implementation
  • VOIP Applications that transform employee communications
  • Network Security and Remote Access
  • Wireless Networks - secure and dependable

In the afternoon, there are three tracks of seminars - and you can attend any that interest you:

  • In the VOIP Beyond Dial Tone track you can hear about the latest innovative unified communications applications from Nortel Networks, Mitel, and Cisco.  VOIP is so much more than a different way to get dial tone.
  • In Network Security and Remote Access you can learn: New ways to manage identity and security, how you can provide easy-to-use secure remote access, and how new tools can speed up your network and make your remote locations more productive without adding more bandwidth for a better user experience.
  • In the New Ideas track we are providing shorter mini sessions on the most interesting new technologies we have come across.  New voice networking technologies SKYPE, SIP trunking, and MPLS are sure to be in your future.  And new solutions for fighting spam, analyzing security events, and addressing common your data center issues may be just the thing you need.

Our Vendor Fair and Advanced Technology Demonstrations will  be available throughout the day.

The After-Hours Reception from 5 to 8 is an opportunity to meet one-on-one with the presenters, sample our great refreshments, or just hang out with the family of SunTel employees and customers.  Stop by after work if you cannot make it during the day.
