It's really about the people, the processes, and the commitment. But hear it from the owners: Gary: We started SunTel Services in 1986 with a very simple idea. If we could meet the communications needs of customers in the Detroit area in a way that they would trust us with an important part of their business, then they would come back to us and tell their friends, and we would grow. We have been fortunate over the years to find the people with the skills and the commitment to make our idea a reality. Don: We have expanded from single, point solutions in the beginning to complete, Unified Communications systems that take advantage of expanding IP network capacities and capabilities. And we are now trusted to advise, not just implement. Our people are crazy about the technology they work with, and they can lead companies big and small through the intricacies of building secure, high-performance networks that provide the foundation for mobile, fast-acting companies. Tim: For me, our success is the bond we create with our customers by doing what we do best: Helping technology work for people. If the technology does not work for the people, then we have not done our job, so we will stay at it until it does the job it was intended to do. We have helped thousands of companies, schools, municipalities, and institutions right here in Michigan to thrive, grow, and adjust to our changing economy in ways that would not have been possible without our help. And that feels good. The SunTel Way is summarized well in Our Principles, Our Implementation Methodology, and Our Customer Care.
Robb Hamill, Installation Manager, hired in 1989
As an early employee, I did not know what to expect, but I have learned over the years that our first priority is to do what is right for the customer, and the management team will always support me.
Kandis Pappadakis, Flint Operations Supervisor, hired in 1991
For me, SunTel has meant a lot of opportunity and growth. I started as a part time receptionist, and have grown through accounting, service dispatch, customer support, and now I am the Operations Supervisor for our Flint Office. They have always treated me well and I have had two children along the way.
