SunTel has provided remote conferencing tools and services to businesses since 1994. The company’s MeetingService solution is a per-minute service based on technology from Cisco Systems that requires no commitment from users, the security of operator-free meetings, detailed usage reports and free training.

The upgrades include:

• A whiteboard for collaborative drawing and slide annotation;
• Chat windows that are always available for easier text communications;
• Improved slideshow functionality with new thumbnails and the capability to save annotated slides;
• New capabilities for the meeting leader to control the speaking ability of participants from their Web browser rather than through an operator to manage large or disorganized groups of participants;
• User-customizable alerts on participants joining or departing the meeting;
• General user interface upgrades to the Web interface;
• Technical upgrades to resolve potential issues with specific operating systems.

SunTel also offers video conferencing systems can meet any budget, from desktop systems for a single person at their PC communicating over the LAN to a conference room system that can also host a multipoint conference, with some participants using the dial network to connect and some users connected internally over the LAN.
